Lee Wedemeyer
Lee Wedemeyer

Lee Wedemeyer has been superintendent of the Marion County DD for 18 years, and has worked in the field of mental retardation and developmental disabilities for nearly four decades.

His responsibilities include oversight of all administrative functions, including the Marie English Early Childhood Center and Marca Industries. Prior to joining Marion County DD, Lee was superintendent of the Meigs County MRDD for six years.

He also served as assistant superintendent of the Columbus Developmental Center. Lee has a bachelor's degree in social work from Rio Grande University and a master's degree in education from Ohio University.

Deb Combs Deb Combs

Deb Combs has served as Marion County DD's Director of Adult Services since 1999. She manages the adult services programs, coordinates the agency's community employment services, and serves as chair of the compliance committee for Marion County DD's accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).

Deb joined Marion County DD in 1986 as a program manager in the habilitation department, and later served as manager of the department for six years. Deb has a bachelor's degree in education from The Ohio State University.

Stephanie Langley Stephanie Langley

Stephanie Langley is the Director of Service & Support Administration for Marion County DD, a position she has held since 2003. Her responsibilities include supervision of the agency's service and support administrators, and overseeing the waiver and supported living programs.

She joined Marion County DD in 1992 and served as the director of children's programs for 11 years. Prior to joining the agency, she was a teacher and the special education case manager in Sandusky County. She holds a bachelor's degree in special education from Ohio University and a master's degree in educational administration from the University of Toledo.

Liz Owens Liz Owens

Liz Owens is the Manager of Industrial Services for Marion County DD, a post she has held since 2007. In this position, Liz manages the operations for Marca Industries, including securing contracts for production with area industry and overseeing Marca's new document destruction business.

Liz joined Marion County DD in 1997 and has served as a job coach and a job developer. Prior to joining the agency, she worked in residential care in San Diego, Calif. Liz has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Mount Vernon Nazarene University.

Cheryl Plaster Cheryl Plaster

Cheryl Plaster is the Director of Administrative Services for Marion County DD, a post she has held since 2004. Her oversight duties include transportation, food services, central records, and contract administration. She also serves as the Board Liaison.

During her tenure at the agency, Cheryl has also been a job coach, program manager, case manager, investigative agent, and business manager. She also was Marion County DD's Special Olympics coordinator and coach for 10 years. Cheryl has a bachelor's degree in arts in education from Bluffton College and a master's degree in business administration from Tiffin University.

Lana Switzer Lana Switzer

Lana Switzer has been the Director of Business Operations & Information Technology for Marion County DD since May 2002. She serves as the agency's chief financial officer, as well as administering information technology and facility operations.

Prior to joining Marion County DD, Lana worked for 13 years in various positions for the state of Ohio. She has a bachelor's degree in business from Franklin University.

Jessica Trainer Jessica Trainer

Jessica Trainer has been the Director of Human Resources for Marion County DD since joining the agency in 2005. Her responsibilities include oversight of all human resource functions, as well as health and safety programs. She also leads the agency's public relations efforts.

Prior to joining the agency, Jessica was an administrative fellow for the New Albany Surgical Hospital. She has a bachelor's degree in business administration and a master's degree in labor and human resources, both from The Ohio State University.

Nicole Wilhelm Nicole Wilhelm

Nicole Wilhelm has served as Marion County DD's Manager of Habilitation Services since July 2008. She manages the direct care staff in the habilitation area, nurses, program managers, as well as the social and recreation programs.

Nicole joined Marion County DD in 2002 as an investigative agent. Prior to joining the agency, she worked for Advocacy and Protective Services, a guardianship agency serving adults in Ohio with MR/DD. Nicole has a bachelor's degree in elementary education from the University of Findlay.
